What Do We Do?
The Honors College Student Council aims to provide programming and resources to best serve Honors students at the University of Kentucky. There are many different components contributing to who we are as an organization, but more information about our four main focuses can be found to the right (or below if you're viewing on a mobile device).
Academics
HCSC recognizes that many Honors students place a lot of importance on their academic success. We therefore aim to help meet students' academic needs through focused programming and events like study nights.
Service
HCSC understands that most of our students wish to give back to their community. We therefore aim to connect students to the Lexington community and foster a relationship between students and local organizations.
Advocacy
HCSC realizes that there are many causes Honors students are passionate about, both within Lewis and beyond. We therefore provide a space for students to voice their concerns and discuss potential changes and solutions.
Social
HCSC provides various social events for Honors students. We know that often there is an emphasis placed on academics, and we wish to create a space where students can decompress while also meeting other Honors students.
